To all my buddyslim friends…I am back.  It’s been a longggg few weeks and yep, I gained a little back but nothing I can’t get rid of.  I only gained 3.5 lbs even after all the cake and other things that found their way into my mouth…lol. 

The wedding was beautiful and went off without a hitch.  My daughter did all the planning and most of the decor.  It was done in Aqua blue and cream color…It was gorgeous!!

 I did two practice wedding cakes and of course without thinking I taste tested, licked the spoon and other little no-no samplings.  I had trouble getting the fondant icing on and after making several attempts, my daughter had to buy some more fondant…this time it went on almost perfect…but upon transporting the cake to the destination, it sort of slid out of place and the groom’s cake split in two…oh my!!…but, I was able to repair both before the reception took place…whew!!!

I thought for sure I would have gained more than I did and I guess it helped to keep it off because I also had been helping my son extend his front porch which took us a couple of days working almost all day long….and by the way, the porch turn out just the way my son wanted…lol.

Anyway, I won’t be able to get back to basically eating healthy until around the 9th of this month when we get a little more money for the house hold (I’m sure you all know how the money crunch thing goes…lol)…but I’m trying to be careful of what I eat most of the time.  Though it’s not what I would normally have on my diet…people gotta eat, right?…lol.

I’m still a little in a down mood but I’m not giving up on losing this weight.  I’ve come too far to throw in the towel and give up…
