Boo-hoo, What is going on here?

sad.jpg    HELP!!!     I don’t get it, I’m trying not to get frustrated here, but sometimes you just can’t figure things out.

I have stuck faithfully with my dieting plan.  Watching my calories, most being under my 1500 calorie intake, I’ve even been exercising more than usual…but yet, the number on the scales goes up, then down, up, then down…and I can’t get below 211…what is going on here?

Then this morning, being frustrated as I was getting…dang, I ate a piece of cake and 2 donut holes…then I got a hold of myself again…and said to myself…this ain’t gonna cut it…so, I got myself back on track…at least I didn’t go overboard on eating a lot more…

    How’s your stress level?

Uhm, how long has the number been slightly fluctuating? If it was few weeks to a few months, you are plateauing. Give it a bit of time, and then start adding intensity to your workout routine, journalling your foods meticulously - and by the way, is 1,500 a right # for you as your weight changed? - check your eating patterns (do you eat a lot at night? not eat breakfast?), check your macronutrients break-down (too much fat? protein?). There are a bunch of articles available on breaking plateaus, so browse around. :)

Hey, don’t lose faith because you’ll just gain it all back, been there and done it. My diet really works, you have to be sure to eat small portions and drink a lot of water and milk if you like it, I do stuff like hiphop abs, and exercise shows like that. And I don’t eat after 4pm, but that just depends on your hunger level. I don’t starve myself, it’s just that I eat filling foods so I don’t have to eat after 4. But as long as you dno’t eat after 8, it’s good. And don’t be so stressed out, that really causes you to gain. Don’t give up, just keep going at it, that’s my diet and it’s really been doing good so far, if you wanna try any of it. Don’t give up, and keep going for it. and try your best to stay away from the junk food if you can! If you need any advice, or if you got any question, or if you just want to talk or be friends, just contact me :)

    Hey Girl :)
Take a breather, smile and relax! First are you using your food journal? I have used mine since I started here, it has helped so much! Now in your food journal you will see your BMR that number is the base number of cals your body burns a day. What you wanna do is burn 500 of those a day through either taking in less cals or through exercise. That is the official healthy way to loose 1-3 pounds a week.
Now here is my way. I would love to be around 150 pounds, so I looked up what My BMR would be at that weight, its 1492, so I make sure I dont eat over 1500 cals a day, ever. I have a stationary bike, I work out on it every day for at least 40 minutes, it burns 700+ cals…so this puts me at a good deficit for burning fat. I have been doing this for 4 months with success ever week! Plus of course I make sure to get in 100+ ounces of water, I take women’s one a day, I do the little challenges from my team like jumping jacks and push ups, we need to tone our muscles so they look sexy when the fat comes off ;)
Now this is what is working for me, I know everyone is different :) But remember, this isnt a diet, this is a lifestyle! Learn what works for you and stick to it, it will pay off!
Drop me a note any time and I will help you with what I can!
